Sandra Lynn Jones

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter and friend, Sandra Lynn Jones, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 62.

Born on October 12, 1961, she grew up in Macon, GA and later moved to Atlanta. She was a dedicated and loving wife to her late husband Michael Jones, and a devoted mother to her children, Hannah and Mason.

Lynn lived a full life and was a woman of many talents. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and her homemade dishes were always the highlight of family gatherings. She enjoyed the art of crafting, and had a unique knack for upcycling. Lynn loved Country and Americana music, and always looked forward to live shows. 

Lynn was a kind and generous soul, always putting others’ needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her charming personality, warm smile and infectious laugh.

She is preceded by her husband, Kerry Michael Jones, her brother, Clifford Gary Smith (Gena), her father Clifford Garfield Smith, Jr. (Beverly) and survived by her daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Mills (Justin), her son, Mason Patrick Jones (Niki), her brother, Tony Lee Smith (Laurie) and mother, Myrtis Brown Haley.

A private funeral service will be held for family and friends at Flanigan Funeral Home located at 4400 S Lee Street, Buford, GA 30518, followed by a celebration of life at her home in Sugar Hill, GA.

Rest in peace, Lynn.  You will forever be in our hearts and memories.
