Charles Benson (CJ) Massey, III

Mr. Charles Benson (CJ) Massey, III, of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 following an accident.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Dustin Ledford will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on September 12, 1993 he was the son of C J Massey, Jr. and the late Mary Ann White Massey.  He was employed with Leon Farmer where he was a delivery driver.

Mr. Massey is survived by his grandmother, Carolyn Dover of Gainesville; grandmother, Louella Cantrell of Lula; uncles and aunts, Edward and Abby Dover of Gainesville; Kellie Purdue of Lula, Mack and Sonya Purdue of Alto; brother, Chance Dover of Gainesville; step mother, Vicki Foster of Gainesville and many cousins and friends.
