Mary Jean Sellers Ledford

Mrs. Mary Jean Sellers Ledford, age 57 of Carnesville, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A daughter of the late Dale Sellers and Mary Magdalene Norris Stowe, she was born November 7, 1966 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Franklin County, Georgia.  She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.  She loved God and loved sharing the Gospel with others, loved helping those in need, loved doing arts and crafts and rock tumbling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy J. Thomason and by a brother, Billy Sellers

Survivors include three daughters, Stacey Ledford of Gainesville, Georgia, Christi Holbrooks of Carnesville, Georgia and Heather Thomason of Gainesville, Georgia; sons, Adam Ledford of Gainesville, Georgia and Kyle Wigley of Hartwell, Georgia; grandchildren, Bryson Augustus, Alyssa Andrews, Damian Carrillo, Adilyn Carrillo and Kharter Collins; sister, Tammy Sellers of Carnesville, Georgia; a number of aunts,uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 14, 2024, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Dr. Tommy Childress officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until the service time.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Her wishes were to be cremated and she will be laid to rest with her son, Billy.
