Daniel Lee Foster

Daniel Lee Foster, age 43, was born August 14, 1980 and passed away February 10, 2024.  Daniel was very proud of his family’s service to this country so much so that he served in the United States Navy from 2001-2015.  As an Aviation Ordnanceman Second Class (AW), he supported the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts During the War on Terrorism. 

Daniel had deep passions for the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, US Navy and golf. He graduated from the Golf Academy of America in Orlando, Florida.

Daniel is preceded in death by his wife, Nichole Foster; parents, Donald and Nelda Foster; and brothers, Kenneth and Joey Foster.  He is survived by his wife, Candi Foster of Jacksonville, Florida; stepdaughter, Kimberly (Jimmie) Bacigalupi; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jimmie, and Flora of Jacksonville, Florida; brothers, David (Donna) Foster of Clermont, Ga., Tonk (Deb) Foster of Mebane, N.C.; sisters, Sherry Cavender, Sandra Truelove, Robbin Bryant of Gainesville, Ga., Sandy (John) Washington of Warrior, Al; sister-in-law, Donna Foster of Gainesville, Ga., and special friend Jessica King of Gainesville, Ga.  He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins. 

On behalf of the family, we thank you for your love, prayers, and phone calls. We also extend a heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, as well as the doctors and nurses who cared for Daniel during his illness. 

A memorial service will be held at Dewberry Baptist Church #1 on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10 A.M.
