Loria Lucinda Scott

Our mother, Loria Lucinda Scott, went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2024 after a long and full life.  She was a wonderful caregiver her whole life for her family and an amazing cook in her kitchen.  Family gatherings with her were always a special time. She was tremendously loved and will be missed terribly.  She is survived by her 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by one daughter. 

If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the memorial service we are holding in her honor on Friday, 1/26/24, at 11:30 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6439 Spout Springs Road, Flowery Branch, GA 30542.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, 1/25/24 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Flanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 4400 S. Lee St. Buford, GA 30518. 

There will also be a celebration of her life in New York.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, 2/3/24 from 9:30 to 10:00 am at Edwards Funeral Chapel, 160 Orange Ave, Suffern, NY 10901, followed by a memorial service starting at 10:00 am, also at Edwards Funeral Chapel.  Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Ascension Cemetery
