Mr. Dennis Wayne Gruwell, 70, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024.

Born on August 12, 1953 in Ottumwa, IA, he was the son of the late Leo Gruwell and Mary Frances Loftin Gruwell. He was a design engineer for Gainco.

Mr. Gruwell is survived by his wife, Mary Gruwell of Gainesville; sons and daughters in law, Tim and Sheree Gruwell of Evans, GA; Chris and Joni Gruwell of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Larry Gruwell of The Villages, FL, Les Gruwell of Litchfield, MN; sister, Destria Bennis of Castle Rock, CO; grandchildren, Kasey Gruwell, Aaron Gruwell, Emily Gruwell, Isaac Gruwell, Rachel Gruwell, Clayton Gruwell and a number of other loving relatives.
