RADERIUS DEVIANCE BAILEY -  Aug 1, 1988 - Jan 12, 2024 

A Time To Be Born:

Raderius was born on August 1st, 1988, in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. God blessed him to be born by great and loving parents, Mr. Berderius and Mrs. Leatricia Young-Bailey. He was a dedicated young man with many talents and gifts. To his high school friends, Raderius was affectionately known as “Roo.”

A Time To Build Up:

Raderius attended Oakhill Elementary School, Eglin Air Force Base, FL. He attended Central Middle School, Anchorage, Alaska, where he was an active football player in the Pop Warner League. He was a graduate of Bartlett High School, Anchorage, Alaska. There, he excelled in football and track for which he won many awards, including some state championship awards in Fairbanks, Alaska. Raderius received his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Grambling State University, class of 2011. Raderius furthered his education by earning a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from American Intercontinental University, class of 2012 in November.

A Time To Plant:

At an early age, Raderius was baptized at New Life Worship Center, Crestview, FL, under the leadership of Pastor Compton, who instilled in him, that in times of trouble, “we gonna pray, and then we gonna fix it.” Raderius greatest achievement, and the absolute love of his life, was the birth of his son, Ayden DeViance Bailey. Their favorite past time was making great family memories by watching and going to the movies while eating lots of popcorn and playing video games.

A Time for every Purpose Under the Sun:

Throughout his government career, Raderius earned many performance awards. He began his government career as a Contract Specialist with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). From there, honed his skill sets with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)-Huntsville, AL, Missile Defense Agency-Huntsville, AL, Veteran’s Affairs-Atlanta, GA, Forestry Services-Atlanta, GA. Raderius’ career culminated at Defense Contract Management Agency, Twin city, MN. Throughout his government career, Raderius earned many awards as a testament to his professional work ethic.

He obtained several licenses and certifications to include Business Research for Decision Making; Global Finance Management; A Managerial Approach to Marketing; Strategic Management; Economics for the Global Manager; Financial Management.

A Time of Transition:

On January 12th, 2024, Raderius transitioned peacefully from time to eternity. He was proceeded in death by his great-grandparents: Mr. John Artis and Mrs. Christine Reed-Young; grandparents-Mrs. Alma Lou Harris of Gainesville, GA; Mr. John W. Bailey, and Mr. David Sherman-Toccoa, GA; great uncle: Mr. Herman Fields, Jr.

A Time To Mourn:

He leaves to cherish his loving memories with his son, Ayden; his parents whom he adored and leaned on for guidance: Mr. Berderius and Mrs. Leatricia Bailey (Douglasville, GA); his brother/best friend, Mr. Cerron (Serena) Bailey (Colorado Springs, CO); grandmother, dear to his heart- Ms. Delores Young-Sirmans (Gainesville, GA); nephews: Myles and Keon Bailey whom he adored and spoiled (Colorado Springs, CO); Aunt: Ms. Juanita “Vicki” Harris (Toccoa, GA); uncles: Mr. Clifford (Cynthia) Bailey, Mr. John Bailey, Mr. Garnet Bailey, and Mr. Raymond Bailey, all of Gainesville, GA; great aunts: Ms. Brenda Fields (Gainesville, GA); Ms. Patricia Hailey (Toccoa, GA); Ms. Wanda Starling (Graniteville, SC); Mr. Walter Young, Sr. (Maryland), Mr. Michael (Linda) Young (Minnesota), Mr. Randolph Sherman (Toccoa, GA); godparents: Mr. Andre Moore (McDonough, GA); Ms. Angelique Murray (Macon, GA). A host of cousins, family and friends. Special friends: Mr. James Cunningham (Anchorage, AK); Mr. Eric McNair (Cheney, WA); Mr. Joseph Walker (Ohio), Mr. Keshawn Carr (Alabama); Mr. Tirrell Cavanaugh (Oakley, CA); Ryan May (Atlanta, GA) and Dominic Griffin, of Lincoln, NE.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Rucker Memorial Baptist Church at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be held at Hillside Chapel between the hours of 2:00PM -6:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024. The family will receive friends between the hours of 5:00 PM  - 6:00 PM.
