Mr. Richard C. Coile, age 69 of Nicholson passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Mr. Coile was born in Toccoa, GA to the late, Curtis and Rachel Kittle Coile. Mr. Coile was a butcher and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Coile was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Elaine Brown Coile; daughter, Heather Coile; son, Russell Coile; and great grandson, Easton Coile.
Mr. Coile is survived by his daughters, Wendy Ferris (Bill) of Gainesville and Haley Coile of Nicholson; sister, Deborah Wier (Van) of Athens; grandchildren, Brandi Coile-Glenn, Brooke Coile, Autumn Harris (Nathan), Johnnie Ferris, Kiera Ferris, Addison Coile, and Gavin; sister-in-law, Marie Pittman (Jerry Paul) of Nicholson; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, January 14th at 3 PM from New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Geter Owens officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2-3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
