Betty Grace (Wilson) Edwards

Mrs. Betty Grace (Wilson) Edwards, age 88, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am January 3, 2023 at Gainesville First United Methodist Church Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Inurnment will be in Harmony Christian Church Cemetery in Commerce, GA

Mrs. Edwards was born January 16, 1935 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Grady A. Wilson and Grace A. Anderson Wilson. She is also preceded in death by her husband Malcolm Edwards.

Mrs. Edwards was a graduate of Gainesville High School and also a graduate of Brenau University. She was a life-long learner and enjoyed participating and traveling with the BULLI Program at Brenau University. She was a member of Gainesville First United Methodist Church and enjoyed participating in the Gadabouts. She was a lover of the outdoors, taking hiking trips, and animals.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Margaret Prickett of Clermont; grandchildren and spouses, Reverend Jamey and Sharon Prickett of Clermont; Jeremy and Starla Prickett of Gainesville; Jody and Anna Prickett of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Jaden and Cohen Prickett, Sadie and Jessie Prickett, Andy, Jackson and Julie Prickett and a number of other family members, cousins and friends also survive.
