Beulah Mae Whitmire

Obituary Date: Saturday, December 30, 2023

Mrs. Beulah Mae Whitmire, 85, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Hamilton Place Memory Care following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. John Kinsey will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Born on June 11, 1938 in Ducktown, TN, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Edna Brock Boring. She owned her own business which was a cleaning service. Mrs. Whitmire was of the Baptist faith.

A Sweet, Loving and Caring lady, she loved her children more than life itself! Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were adored tremendously by her. Her family was the light of her life. To have known her was to love her! She was truly loved and will be truly missed.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitmire was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Miller and son in law, Steve Sosebee.

Mrs. Whitmire is survived by her son, Allen Petty of Gainesville; son in law, Mark Oliver of Gainesville; daughter, Theresa Sosebee of Gainesville; grandson, Paul Petty; granddaughters, Amber Etris, Ashley Tinsley; grandson, Anthony Sosebee; great granddaughter, Emma Etris; great grandsons, Eyen Etris, Kolton Sosebee; other son, Gene Petty of Charleston, SC; sister, Joyce Esckilsen of MI and a number of other loving relatives.
