Mr. Juan Bautista Cruz, 80, of Flowery Branch, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be in El Salvador.

Born on June 24, 1943 in Concepcion de Oriente, El Salvador, he was self- employed as a farmer.

Mr. Cruz is survived by his son, Joel Cruz of Flowery Branch; daughters, Senia Cruz of Indianapolis, IN, Elin Cruz of Monroe, NC, Dilcia Cruz of Gainesville, Delqui Cruz of Monroe, NC; sons, Milton Cruz of Gainesville, Orlin Cruz of Gainesville, Robin Cruz of Gainesville; sister, Rufina of Homestead, FL; brothers, Miguel Cruz of Homestead, FL, Isrrael Yanez of Gainesville; a number of grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
