Amanda Kathryn Farish

Amanda Kathryn Farish, age 41, of Tucker, Georgia, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Amanda was born July 4, 1982 at Piedmont Hospital during the Peachtree Road Race. She was the daughter of James Edward Farish, Jr. and the late Sharon Elaine Martin

Amanda, a talented professional photographer, was cherished for her wit, intelligence and passion for music and music festivals. She loved photographing musicians and musical enthusiasts at different shows and festivals that she attended. Through her lens, she captured not just images but moments of beauty and emotion. Amanda translated her creativity into art, having studied marketing and advertising at Creative Circus in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her love for her family and friends illuminated every moment of her 41 years.

Amanda is survived by her father, James Edward Farish, Jr. of Sea Island, Georgia; sister, Anslee Wilson (Mitch) of Gainesville, Georgia; brothers, James Farish, III of Greenville, South Carolina and Matthew Farish of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; uncle Allen Martin; aunt, Sandy Farish; nieces and nephews, Ella Wilson, Ava Farish and Miller Wilson. She is also survived by other relatives and several special friends who were like family.

She leaves behind a legacy of a vibrant spirit, laughter, creativity, and warmth that will always be remembered and cherished. Amanda will be deeply missed.

Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel.
