William Earl "Bill" House

William Earl “Bill” House, 77, of Dahlonega passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at his residence.

Born November 26, 1946 in Cartersville, GA to the late James William and Dorothy Lanelle House, he had lived in Lumpkin County since 2001 having moved from Cumming, GA.  Mr. House retired from the United States Postal Service following over 30 years of service.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring classic cars and trucks, woodworking and carpentry.

Surviving are his Wife, Brenda Sue House, Dahlonega; daughters, Stacey Hope Fountain, Dawsonville, Kimberly Ann McMahon, Atlanta; son and daughter in law, William Shane and Heather House, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Torrey Helton, Thatcher Helton, Alex Fountain, Rachel Fountain, Juliet Fountain, Leah Fountain; great grandchildren, Knox Helton, Riley Helton; sister, Vicki Maddox, Winder; brothers and sisters in law, Kenneth L. and Tina House, Loganville, David W. and Debbie House, Woodstock; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Tony Holtzclaw will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
