Lisa Clark

Lisa Clark, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 3 at the age of 58.  She was a valiant warrior in her 8-year battle with breast cancer.

Born in Lynchburg, Virginia on December 21, 1964, she is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert Fuller Clark; her son, Harrison (Katie); her daughter, Caroline; her parents, Andi and Lynwood Worley; her brother, Clay Worley, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.   

In her own words, “I am sad that I am leaving you behind…but at the same time, I am rejoicing that Jesus has called me home.”  Because she loved Jesus Christ, she desired that each person she knew and loved would receive the same grace, strength and peace that only Jesus can give for the life path each of us will walk.

Those of us she leaves behind - her family and friends - will always miss her sweet smile, her wit and determination, her encouragement and her love for others.  Our loss is heaven’s gain.  And we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with her in heaven.

It is our desire to learn from her model of strength and resiliency and follow in her footsteps -  to love and encourage others as we walk together through life.  Her sweet spirit will be greatly missed each day.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, at 12:00 noon, with visitation from 11:00 – 12:00 at Flanigan Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4400 S. Lee St, Buford, GA 30518.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation and indicate it is “in memory of Lisa Clark”. The ACCF was created to help alleviate the financial burden of cancer patients and their families and to provide support for research in the Atlanta area.
