Robert “Bob” Kimball

Robert “Bob” Kimball, age 82, of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his Son, Eric R. Kimball.  Mr. Kimball is survived by his wife of 22 years, Betty Ann Gilmer Kimball; daughter, Karen Kimball Hallowell; son-in-law, James Hallowell; stepsons, Charles (Susan) Jones, Jr., Mike (Diane) Jones, and Jonathan (Nancy) Jones; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia A. Coakley; former wife, Sandra Kimball.

Mr. Kimball was born April 24, 1941 in Springfield, MA.  Mr. Kimball graduated High School and attended Broome Technical College in Binghamton, NY where he graduated with an Associate’s Degree.  He served in the U.S. navy for 1 year.  He was a retired Electronic Technician from General Motors with over 30 years of service.  Mr. Kimball was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church, Buford, GA.  He was an avid runner and played Rugby.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Friday, December 8, 2023, in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Dr. Craig Dale officiating and Tom Michel with the closing prayer. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
