Danny Nelson Hardin

Mr. Danny Nelson Hardin, 69, of Alto passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Athens Regional Hospital.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Friday, December 8, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on November 12, 1954 in Raleigh, NC, he was the son of the late Emory and Cora Hardin. He was self-employed in the Trucking Industry and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hardin was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen and Joan and brother, Wesley.

Mr. Hardin is survived by his wife, Edna (Gail) Hardin of Alto; sons, John Hardin of Gainesville, Jeremy Hardin of Cumming, Durben Miller of Gillsville; daughter and fiancé, Christina Miller and Bradley Corey of Gillsville; daughters, Amy Strickland and Michelle Hardin; brother and sister in law, Robert and Kathy Hardin of Dawsonville; sisters and brothers in law, Janice and Don Fleming of Dawsonville, Susan and Wayne Shires of Far City, NC; brother, Doug Hardin of KY; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
