Cpl. Jeffery Shane Wiggins, 34, of Dahlonega, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at his residence.
 
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Randy Roys and Rev. Chance Strickland will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
 
Born on August 18, 1989 in Nashville, TN, he was the son of Jeffrey Miller Wiggins and Tammy Dabney Wiggins.
 
Shane adored his support dog and faithful companion, Tank. Shane loved being outdoors; traveling, sports, making others laugh and had a personality like no other. He loved his country and fought for it until his last breath. More than anything; Shane loved to help others, he loved his people, & was the epitome of loyal. If you knew Shane, you loved him.
 
Shane is proceeded in death by his maternal grandmother; Joyce Redfern (Mamaw), and paternal grandfather; Ernest Dabney (Papa).
 
He is survived by his father and mother; Jeffrey and Tammy Wiggins. Sisters; Cortney Murray (Gary Murray), and Whitney Fletcher (Ryan Fletcher), Nieces and Nephews; Cassidy, Sarah, Aaron and Devin Murray. Landry, Noah and Abigail Fletcher. Paternal Grandfather; Tom Redfern Sr. Maternal Grandmother; Rubie Dabney and Fiancé; Dawn Hamilton
