Glenda Faye Minish Wood

Mrs. Glenda Faye Minish Wood, age 73, of Danielsville, GA died Saturday, November 11, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Mrs. Wood was born in Commerce to the late Fred Alton and Willie Helen Wilson Minish.  She was a member of Galilee Holiness Church and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Kimsey Wood; and brother, Jimmy Minish.

Mrs. Wood is survived by her son, Todd Wood (Tammy) of Danielsville; daughters, Angie Hunter (William) and Stacey Wilson (Tommy) both of Danielsville; brothers, William Minish (Louise) of Nicholson, Terry Minish (Janice) of Commerce and Benny Wilson of Danielsville; sister-in-law, Patsy Minish of Commerce; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Tuesday, November 14 at Galilee Holiness Church with Rev. Larry Dyer, Rev. Lou Franklin and Rev. Nelson Franklin officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5 to 8 PM.
