Mrs. Amanda Ninnie Latty, 82, of Clermont, Ga., died on Friday, November 3, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023, in the Chapel of W. R. Strickland & Sons, Clermont, Ga. Interment will follow the service at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Clermont, Ga. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
Amanda was a lifelong resident of Clermont, Ga. She was a member of White Creek Baptist Church.
Amanda is preceded in death by her husband of over sixty years, James Larry Latty, her father and mother, Cobb and Mary Lou Whelchel; her sister Martha Hemphill and her nephew Steve Hemphill.
Amanda loved her children David Latty (Karen) and Alan Latty (Jessica); her grandsons Daniel Latty (Brittany) and Andrew Latty (Brianna), and her great-grandson Henry Latty.
Amanda worked in the medical field for over fifteen years and enjoyed nature.
The family would like to thank Mrs. Betty Martin and Kabe Cain for being ever present in Amanda’s care and guiding us on this journey. Special thanks to all of the caregivers and staff at Oaks of Hampton.
