Frances Inez Pethel

Mrs. Frances Inez Pethel, 81, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2023 In the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Born on June 12, 1942 in Cumming, she was the daughter of the late Hoyt Namen Samples and the late Minerva Jane Grizzle Samples. She was retired from Winn-Dixie where she was the Manager.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pethel was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Pethel; sisters, Mildred Adams, Louise Brown, Dorothy Sheriff and Brother Jerry Samples.

Mrs. Pethel is survived by her Sons and daughters in law, Brett and Joy Pethel of Gainesville, Bart and Melony Pethel of Gainesville; sister, Elaine Magnus of Gillsville; brothers, Pascal Samples of Gainesville, Kenneth Samples of Lula; grandchildren, Brannon Hayden Pethel and Matthew Brett Pethel and a number of other loving relatives.
