Siong Koua Vanchiasong

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Siong Koua Vanchiasong, age 79, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Mr. Vanchiasong was born in Laos, the son of the late Vang Chia Xiong and Say Kue. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pang Vanchiasong, son, Pang Dua Vanchiasong, daughter, May Moua and grandsons, Kong Ching Vanchiasong and Rocky Yang. 
Mr. Vanchiasong loved the outdoors tending to his garden and chickens.  
Survivors include his two sons, Koulanchi Siong and Kong Vanchiasong, his four daughters, Phoua Yang, La Siong, Maysy Moua and Rosalie Herr, 30 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. 
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 3:00pm and Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home. The burial will follow on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Georgia Memorial Park, Marietta, Georgia.
