Elizabeth A. Woodall Hogans, age 85, of Cumming, GA, passed away October 24, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hogans; parents, Lawrence and Annie Sue Woodall; one sister; and six brothers. Mrs. Hogans is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Chuong) Vo of Cumming, GA; sons, Richard (Melissa) Hogans of Buford, GA, Larry Lovell of Pendergrass, GA; sister-in-law, Peggy Woodall of Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren, Scott (Faye) Lovell, Jenean (Kyle) Thrasher, Luke Vo, Christian Vo, Savannah Vo, Katelyn Hogans, Kaylee Hogans, great-grandchildren, Aaron Lovell, Braxton Thrasher, and Kallan Thrasher; and several nieces and nephews, who she adored.
Mrs. Hogans was born December 22, 1937 in Tiger, GA. She was retired from Publix on Lawrenceville Suwanee Rd. with five years of service and Southern Food Service as a Cafeteria Manager after ten years of service. Mrs. Hogans enjoyed cooking and was of Christian faith. She was lovingly known as “Grams" to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Minister Dale Hutchins officiating. Interment will follow in the Barrow Memorial Gardens, 793 Atlanta Highway, Winder, Ga 30680. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
