Nelson Owens

Mr. Nelson Owens, 51, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Loy Roper, III will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on August 19, 1972, he was the son of Carolyn Wright Owens and the late Williams E. Owens. He was a supervisor for Shintone USA. Mr. Owens was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Owens is survived by his mother, Carolyn Owens of Gainesville; son, Dakota Owens of Buford; and sister, Carmen Dunagan (Loy).
