Cheryl Lynn Knapp

Ms. Cheryl Lynn Knapp, 63, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Kenny Williams and Rev. Al Waltz will officiate. Jenise Waltz will be singing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on September 9, 1960 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of Imogene Etris Voyles and the late Leonard Cagle.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Cagle; brother, Jo Shoffeitt and sister, Betty Shoffeitt.

Ms. Knapp is survived by her daughter, Sheila Knapp and Becky Baker of Gainesville; son, Michael Knapp of Gainesville; granddaughters, Kyli Knapp, Destiny Knapp; mother, Imogene Voyles of Braselton; sisters. Joyce Southers of Gainesville; Geneva Jones of Flowery Branch; brother, Eugene Cagle and a number of other loving relatives.
