Betty Lola Ivester McLendon

Mrs. Betty Lola Ivester McLendon, age 89, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at her residence.  Mrs. McLendon was born in Commerce to the late Lemmie and Eppsie Cheek Ivester.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retired from Harmony Grove Mills.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. McLendon was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy William McLendon.

Mrs. McLendon is survived by her son, Ronnie McLendon (Angela) of Commerce; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Friday, September 1 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
