Gloria Dianne Seagraves Purcell

Mrs. Gloria Dianne Seagraves Purcell, age 77, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Purcell was born in Commerce to the late Otis and Susie Adams Seagraves.  She was a member of Erastus Christian Church and retired judicial secretary of the Piedmont Judicial Circuit Superior Court.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Purcell was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Purcell.

Mrs. Purcell is survived by her daughter, Donna Embrick (Jonathan) of Commerce; grandchildren, Madison Redman (Jordan) and Matthew Embrick; and great-granddaughter, Gloria Redman.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, August 25 at Erastus Christian Church with Rev. Vaughn Howington and Rev. Billy Pittman officiating.  Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 7 PM.
