Barbara “Jean” Shaddock

Barbara “Jean” Shaddock, age 72, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Burrell Shaddock; brothers, Billy Jachim and Jimmy Jachim.  Mrs. Shaddock is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, John H. Shaddock of Lawrenceville; daughter, Kristi Lynn Shaddock of Lawrenceville; son, Jacob Allen (Nikki) Shaddock of Grayson, GA; grandchildren, Chase Gregory Shaddock, Christopher John David (Kristen) Bobbitt; great-grandchild, Zeke Levesque; and other relatives.  She was born on August 9, 1951 in Collins, CT.  Mrs. Shaddock was a 1968 graduate of Dixie Hollins High School, St. Petersburg, FL.  She was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired from Data Mats with ten years of service as a receptionist.  Mrs. Shaddock was a member of both The Early Risers Sunday School Class at Ivy Creek Baptist Church and of Ivy Creek Baptist Church.  She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Order of the Amaranth.  Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Williams and Dr. Craig Dale officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ivy Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 2344, Buford, GA  30515.
