Mario Alfonso Gonzales

Mr. Mario Alfonso Gonzales, age 56 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm and Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mr. Gonzales was born November 25, 1966 in Brownsville, Texas to the late Alfonso Gonzales and Manuela Valdez Gonzales.  He was employed with Mission Foods and preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Jessica Flores.

Mr. Gonzales is survived by his wife, Martha Gonzales of Gainesville, his children, Aaron Gonzales, Adrian Gonzales, Mario Alfonso Gonzales, Jr. and Helsa Gonzales, all of Gainesville, his grandchildren, Mathew Gonzales, Izabella Gonzales and Marivel Martinez.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
