Glenda Sue Callahan

Mrs. Glenda Sue Callahan age 63 of Toccoa passed away Tuesday August 8, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Chester and Glenda Piper Callahan, she was born March 18, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia having lived in Forsyth County most of her life before moving to Toccoa in 2008. She was a beautician for several years and later employed with Panduit Company for twenty five years and also with Stephens County Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband Stephen Bayne of the home, brother Chester Leon Callahan of Cumming, four sisters Louise Covington of Woodstock , Mae Tucker of Gibson, Betty Ann Pruitt of Cumming and Rosalee Cloud of Jasper and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday August 11, 2023 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Kenneth Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 1 P.M. until service time.

The following gentlemen will serve as a pallbearer Mitchell Aranove Jr.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens
