Donald "Don" Ray Dunn

Mr. Donald “Don” Ray Dunn, age 68 of Lakeview Way, Martin passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 at AccentCare Hospice Center in Cumming, Georgia.

A son of the late David and Sara Dunn and Betty and Melvin (Skin) Wilson, he was born August 27, 1954 in Kinston, North Carolina, having moved to Stephens County in the early 80’s.  He was retired from Milliken.  He loved his family and his dogs.  His hobby was CB radio and his handle was “Deputy Dog”. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years, Clystia “Faye” Dunn in 2015.

He is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Doug Hendrix of Floresville, Texas, Sara and Kenny Price of Eastanollee and Linda and Wayne Taylor of Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin Lynn Wilson and Jodi of Lyman, North Carolina; a number of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in North Carolina.
