Samantha Lavern Smith

Samantha Lavern Smith, age 51, of Covington, GA passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Carson.  Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, Antonio Smith of Covington; sons, Dontrell Smith of Covington, Tavon Askew of Covington, Antahn Smith, Shamiti Smith, Yazmanie Smith; three grandchildren; mother, Lessie Bennett Carson of Buford, GA, sister, Beverly Lymon of Fort Myers, FL; brothers, Tony (Denise) Carson of Dahlonega, GA, Frankie Sanders of St. Mountain, GA; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Mrs. Smith was born on March 7, 1972 in Buford, GA and graduated from Buford High School in Buford.  She was a Home Health Care Nurse and a member of Faith Free Full Gospel Church in Buford. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Gwen Bennett from Faith Free Full Gospel Church officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
