Elizabeth Diane Tench Loggins

Our loving mother Elizabeth Diane Tench Loggins passed away at the age of 75 on May 26, 2023 at 1:55 p.m. due to cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Peck, Rev. Milton Martin, Jr. and Rev. Mike Young will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 28th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

She was born in Old Downey Hospital, Gainesville, GA to Joe and Louise Boling Tench. Brothers Michael Tench, Dan Tench and wife Joyce.

Diane graduated from South Hall High and attended Business College in Gainesville. She gave up a career with the FBI in Washington to stay here and become a wonderful wife and mother. She gave so much love to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She showed her family how to live a Christian life full of love and smiles. She never said a harsh word to anyone. Her favorite thing was to cook for others and to read. She loved to work in the church and over the years, she taught many youth and children, lead women’s ministry, and directed Christmas plays. She spread her beautiful smile and love to everyone.

She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Loggins; two daughters, Lori and husband, Carroll Saxon, Emily and husband Kevin Brooks; five grandchildren, Zachary Saxon and wife Taylor, Lacey Saxon Simpson and husband Tom, Cody Saxon and fiancé Ciara Corbin, Chelsea Brooks Thomas and husband Kyle, Elijah Brooks; seven great grandchildren, Calloway Saxon, Andy Simpson, Matthew Simpson, Ellie Mae Simpson, Maggie Thomas, Adalyn Thomas, Henry Thomas and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
