Frank Thomas Wessinger

Frank Thomas Wessinger, 78, of Dahlonega passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 surrounded by his family following complications from surgery.

Born and raised in Georgia, Frank and his future wife, Lynn, met when they were just kids.  After knowing each other for years, Frank and Lynn were married on December 4, 1965 and celebrated 57 anniversaries together.  In his free time, Frank enjoyed working on old cars, always having a love for them.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Evelyn Wessinger; beloved grandmother, Leila Dell Wessinger; brothers, Walter and Richard Wessinger.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Lynn Wessinger of Dahlonega; daughters and son-in-law, Michelle Harris of Dawsonville; Cheryle and Rusty Stevens of Lawrenceville, Beth Wessinger of Dahlonega; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Etowah Church in Dawsonville.  Rev. Russell Davis will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
