Robert Lee Sullens

Obituary Date: Friday, January 27, 2023

Robert Lee Sullens 88 of Dahlonega passed away on January 27, 2023.  Mr. Sullens was a native of Lumpkin County and retired from Fieldale Farms, he also drove a lumber truck for many years for Parks Lumber Company.  Mr. Sullens loved deer hunting, fishing, gardening and farming, but most importantly loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Mr. Sullens is preceded by his parents Floyd & Alma (Hulsey) Sullens, his wife Elizabeth Sullens; his siblings; Hoyt Sullens (Marie), Mary Jarrard (Harold), Joe Hulsey (Clydine), Bill Sullens (Louise), and Joyce Parrish.

Robert is survived by his children; Diane Sullens, Bobby Sullens, Lynn Smith, Randall Sullens, Tim (Rene) Sullens, Kathy (Darryl) Roberts, and Jan (Eli) Carlan; grandchildren; Thomas Chapman, Lonnie Chapman, Christy Wallace, Casey Hallett, Timothy Sullens, Darryl Jr. Roberts, Matthew Roberts, Lora Roberts-Ford, Madison Waldrop, and Megan Guier; siblings, Dorsey (Tony) Sullens, David (Paula) Sullens, Dorris (Carol) Couch, Lucy Ericerman; 12 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday January 31st, 2023, from 4pm to 8pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday February 1st, 2023, at 2pm in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Murrayville, GA.
