Mildred Lee "Mema" Hansard

Mildred Lee (Mema) Hansard, 92, of Cumming passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022. A native of Forsyth County, Mildred was a strong-spirited individual who loved her family, her church, Haw Creek Baptist Church, and flowers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Hansard; daughter, Elizabeth Sanders; son, Hugh Hansard, sister; Marie Gilbert; granddaughter, Diane Freeman; and great granddaughter, Reagan Freeman.

Survivors include her grandsons, David (Tara) Sanders, Dennis Sanders; great grandchildren, Abby Sanders, Amy Sanders, Luke Sanders, Ashley Sanders, Heath Freeman, Seth Freeman, Elijah Freeman, and Aubrey Freeman; and son-in-law, Lanier Sanders.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
