Sidney Earl Bryant

Mr. Sidney Earl Bryant, age 81 of Murrayville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Pastor Len Land will officiate. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Bryant was born October 5, 1940 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was the youngest son, of the late George Dewey Bryant and Mary McGinnis Bryant. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Outz Bryant and sons, Greg and Steven Bryant; three brothers and one sister.

Sidney was a loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. Highly regarded as a master paint and body professional in North Georgia as the man to see if you wanted a car (or racecar) painted right. Sid, the name he was often referred to by many, was considered a perfectionist in his craft. He possessed a quiet personality with a strong presence that will be missed by all. Sidney was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church.

          Mr. Bryant is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Derry Collins of Gainesville; daughter-in-law, Dana Bryant of Gainesville; daughter-in-law Laurie Bryant of Murrayville; grandchildren, Cody (Lauren) and Cale (Anissa) Collins; Davey and Dawson Bryant, Brandon Bryant and Hailey (Brant) Shropshire; great-grandchildren, Harper and Greyson Collins, Lily Kate Shropshire, Roslyn Collins and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
