Oscar Lee “Pete” Ellis III

Mr. Oscar Lee “Pete” Ellis III, age 47 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Memorial Park South Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 7, 2022 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Pete was born May 18, 1974 to Oscar Lee, Jr. & Vickie Ann Ellis (Fieser) in Gainesville, Georgia. He worked as a sales associate for Home Depot for 25 years and attended Chestnut Mountain Church. As a long-time fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Pete was ecstatic when they won the National Championship.  We are pretty sure they won it just for him! Pete enjoyed spending time with his kids including going to the movies and fishing. Before and throughout his long battle with cancer, Pete was not hesitant to share his deep abiding faith and spread his message of positivity and encouragement with everyone around him.

He is survived by his mother & step-father, Vickie & Michael Fieser; father & step-mother, Oscar “Pete” Ellis, Jr. & DePaula; former spouse, Heather Mouzakis; son, Caden Ellis; daughter, Chloe Ellis; brother & sister-in-law, Daniel & Courtney Ellis; brother, Shawn Stack, and stepbrother, Michael John Fieser; sisters, Linda Arsenault, and Kaytee Bisson; and stepsister and brother-in-law, Denise & Michael Jira; nephews, Jonathan and Braxton Arsenault, (little) Shawn Stack, Logan, Issaac, and Ethan Ellis, Mikey and JW Jira; nieces Whitney Jira, Jadelynn Bisson, Lola Rizzuto; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
