Ruby Mae Westbrook Crunkleton

Mrs. Ruby Mae Westbrook Crunkleton, age 90 of Richardson Street, Toccoa passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at her home.

A daughter of the late Ruben and Bernice Osburn Westbrook, she was born October 23, 1931 in Banks County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia.  She was retired from Coats and Clark with 47 years of service and a hairdresser for 50 years.  She served as President of Toccoa Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and the Toccoa V.F.W. Post 4346 Ladies Auxiliary.  She was a founding member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Walter Ray Crunkleton and Terrell Burdette.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Anthony Ray Crunkleton of Toccoa and Timothy Walter Crunkleton and Kimberly Dawn Crunkleton of Carnesville; grandchildren, Joshua Timothy and Cayla Crunkleton, Justin Thomas Ray and Kinesey Crunkleton, Cassie and Brett Manley and Derick Crunkleton; several great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022, 2 o’clock p.m. at Sunnyside Baptist Church with The Reverend Dr. Roy Rogers and Mr. David Terrell officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, George T. Westbrook, Jeff Williams, Jake Williams, Barry Crunkleton, Jimmy Crunkleton and Ronny Crunkleton.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elks Aidmore Children’s Home, 2394 Morrison Road, SW, Conyers, Georgia 30094 or V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, 5895 Brookhaven Circle, Martin Georgia 30557 in memory of Mrs. Ruby Mae Westbrook Crunkleton.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Ruby Mae Westbrook Crunkleton.
