Mrs. Susie Ann McFarlin Payne, age 85, wife of the late Floyd Talmadge Payne passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her residence.
Born June 19, 1936 in Franklin County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Lucy Dalrymple McFarlin. She along with her husband Floyd were co-owners of Payne Printing Service. Mrs. Payne was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and Nena and she loved her family dearly.
Mrs. Payne is survived by her daughter: Tammy Richey (Donnie) of Walhalla, South Carolina, her son: Kendall Payne (Angela Cash) of Winterville; her grandchildren: Kendra Lynne Payne Hart (Blake), Zachary Jonathon Payne, Sydney Grace Richey and Preston Lee Richey; great-granddaughters; Emery Blair Hart and Ellasyn Brielle Hart; sister: Becky Savage of Toccoa; brothers: Sammy McFarlin (Brinda) of Danielsville, Titus McFarlin of Maiden, North Carolina and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Payne was preceded in death by sisters: Sarah Kesler and Macie Carter.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 3, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church with The Reverend David Sosebee and The Reverend Ricky McFarlin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 on Friday, December 3, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church prior to the service. The family is at the home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Brannon McFarlin, Rusty McFarlin, Jeff McFarlin, Daniel Carter, Andy Mayes, Andrew Kesler, Dale Shook and Mark Kesler. Grandsons will serve as Honorary Escort, Zachary Jonathon Payne, Preston Lee Richey and Joey Blake Hart.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Stephens County Gideons, P.O. Box 663, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 or New Hope Baptist Church, 6731 Mize Road, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mrs. Susie Ann McFarlin Payne.
Interment will be in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Susie Ann McFarlin Payne.
