Larry Duckett

Mr. Larry Duckett, 86, of Stone Mountain, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Westbury Assisted Living.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Born on November 19, 1934 in Atlanta, GA Mr. Duckett was the son of the late Hubert Duckett and the late Minnie Spinks Duckett. He was president of Edwards-Warren Tire Company. Mr. Duckett was a proud veteran of the United States Marines and was a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church.

Mr. Duckett is survived by his wife, Shirley Duckett of Stone Mountain; sons and daughters in law, Andrew and Linda Duckett of Stone Mountain; Larry Jr. and Yvonne Duckett, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; daughter and son in law, Ruth and Roger Brockman of Locust Grove; son and daughter in law, Daniel and Sonya Duckett of Marietta; brother, James Duckett of Conyers; grandchildren, Michael, Joel, Lori, Larry III, Robert, Stephen, Eric, Riley and Daniel and a number of other loving relatives.
