Gary Allen Dean

Gary Allen Dean, age 74, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Vaughn and Cliffie Dean.  He is survived by his daughter, Serina Laura Nations, Sugar Hill, GA; grandchildren, Emma Nations, Dayton, OH, Jacob Nations, Winder, GA, Garrett Nations, Sugar Hill, GA; sister, Brenda (Wayne) Coker, Flowery Branch, GA; niece, Vivian (Greg) Hughes, Flowery Branch, GA; nephew, Andy (Carol) Coker, Flower Branch, GA; several cousins.  Mr. Dean was born on August 6, 1947 in Ducktown, TN.  He was a 1964 graduate of Union County High School.  Mr. Dean was a mechanic with North Gwinnett SUV Co. and auto salvage company.  He was a member of New Union Baptist Church, Blairsville, GA.  He was also a member of Blairsville Saddle Club and G.A.R.A. Recycle Association.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at New Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Blairsville, GA , 30512, with Rev. Harrison Bradley officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
