Amber Carlberg Hogan

Obituary Date: Friday, September 10, 2021

Mrs. Amber Carlberg Hogan, 38, of Gainesville, passed away September 10, 2021.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. John Kinsey officiating.  The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on February 18, 1983 in Tallahassee, FL, she was the daughter of David and Robin Carlberg. Mrs. Hogan graduated from Florida State University, and then graduated from Brenau University where she received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL.

Mrs. Hogan is survived by her husband, Nathan Hogan of Gainesville; sons, Zachary Hogan, Nathan Hogan, III of Gainesville; daughter, Natalie Hogan of Gainesville; parents, David and Robin Carlberg of Tallahassee, FL; and sister, Casey Carlberg of Tallahassee, FL. Amber is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her grandmother, Ruth N. Winchester who loved her dearly and her paternal grandparents, Rev. Earl and Phyllis Carlberg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Edmonson Telford Child Advocacy Center 603 Washington Street, SW Gainesville, GA 30501.
