Dr. Jonas Kauffeldt

Dr. Jonas Kauffeldt, age 53, of Flowery Branch passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Christ Lutheran Church at 3612 Old Oakwood Road, Oakwood, GA 30566.

Dr. Kauffeldt was born June 3, 1968 to the late Jorgen & Joan Kauffeldt in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was a history professor at University of North Georgia and of the Lutheran faith.

Dr. Kauffeldt is survived by his brother, Jan Kauffeldt.
