Ronald Eugene Whitfield

Mr. Ronald Eugene Whitfield age 75 of Dawsonville, Ga passed away on Wednesday March 03, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.     

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 05, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Son, Jim Whitfield will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday March 05, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. Whitfield was born February 11, 1946 in Whidbey Island, Washington to Mary and N.E. Whitfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Whitfield, and grandparents H.O. and Belle Lyle and H.B. and Willie May Whitfield, all of Jefferson Georgia.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda of Dawsonville, GA and son and daughter in law Jim and Cheri Whitfield of Springfield TN.  Brothers Ray (Rhonda) of Winterville, GA and Tim (Belinda) of Macon, GA., numerous nieces and nephews.
