Daryal L. Maligualt

Obituary Date: Saturday, January 30, 2021
Daryal L. Maligualt 50 of Gainesville passed away Saturday January 30th.

A TIME TO BE BORN: Born on January 24, 1971, to the proud parents of Alvin (Deceased) & Edna (Manigault) Hendricks. It was obvious from birth, that Daryle was going to be a special individual. Happy and inquisitive from the very beginning, wanting to know everything, about everything.
A TIME TO PLANT: Instilled with the love of life, and the spirit of kindness from his Mother, Grandmother Mrs. Person (Deceased), Aunts, and Uncles in fact an entire Village, he represented well, and touched a lot of souls. Education 101, 1st Stop Hallet Cove Daycare (1975-1976 Alumni), where learning fascinated him. Then there was P.S. 171, I.S. 126, Springfield H.S., and Canisius University where he earned a degree.
A TIME TO BUILD UP: A kind and loving person, full of charm, Daryle left an impression that’s for sure. Whether with the gift of making you laugh with the silliest of jokes, squincy eyes and all, or his big heart, you choose. His smile alone would light up a room, as if to say OH you guys were waiting for me. LOL
A TIME TO LOVE: Daryle loved his Family & Friends, especially his Mother, Grandmother Mrs. Audrey (Deceased), aunts, uncles, brothers, from other mothers, in fact an Entire Village. A heart of gold, no matter what it was, if he could help, whether it be an encouraging word, energy, or time he would give it up. However, one of his Greatest Gifts was he loved his children, big time. Being called Dad made his heart smile.
A TIME TO PLAY: If you knew Daryle, you knew he loved the casino’s especially Atlantic City. There’s a room there with his name on it, or should be. Daryle also loved Scrabble. He would make your side hurt laughing when he played, he swore he was the best scrabble player ever. He would always dare you to challenge a word. Playing Crazy 8s, or UNO was so much fun when he was a part of it. We will miss those fun times.
A TIME TO HEAL: Having had a few obstacles to overcome, including dialysis, and a kidney transplant, he remained trusting in God, and because of that, his glass was always half full. On January 30, 2021, his assignment here on earth was completed, and he went on to be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep. His body has been healed eternally, and he is now with the Heavenly Father.
A TIME TO EMBRACE: Daryle leaves to cherish his memory, his Mother, Stepfather James Hendricks, Three children; Shakeem (Carolina, wife), D’Onni, and Daria, One Grand Ahmad Hunter, Siblings: Sharon Pray, Traci Manigault, & Gary Pray, Aunt Roslyn Cline, Uncles: Gregory & Stewart (Doris, wife), Special Relationships: Jerris Adams, Victoria Burton, Godmother Johnnie Mae Leslie, Surrogate Aunts: Bessie Hicks, Sylvia Cheeks, Designated Godmother Christine Robinson White, Other Mother Cora O’Garro, Road Dogs Mister O’Garro, & A BAND OF BROTHERS (HP, Ricky, Derrick, Kevin Ervin, Allie, Mandell & more), OG Panama Hughes, Twin Sisters From Another Mother Shenise & Denise, a Host of Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Family & Friends.
