Maude Lena Daniels

Maude Lena Daniels, 83, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021. 

Maude Lena Daniels was born November 20, 1937 in Gainesville, Ga. She departed this life on January 23, 2021. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Mrs. Lillie Mae Ivey and Boiselle Ivey; her brothers Lonnie Ivey (Dayton Ohio), Odell Ivey, Benjamin Ivey, and David Ivey (all of Gainesville, Ga). Maude was married to the late Tanner Yarbrough Jr. and was later was married to the late Charles Daniels. 

She is survived by her brother Reuben J Ivey (Gainesville), Sister-in-law Carrie Ivey (David) (Gainesville) Children: Sophia D Louis (Bobby) Brunswick Ga., Jerome Yarbrough (Deborah) Gainesville Ga., Virgil V Yarbrough (Athens Ga.), Annette M. Yarbrough (Lawrenceville Ga). Grand Children, Tanique, Bobby Jr, Chauvis, Jeromy, Tevin, Jarrett, Gracey, and Bailey. Great Grand Children Alena, Nicole, Arriyonna, Mya. 

She attended Fair Street School in Gainesville and was employed by Chicopee MFC. Maude also helped many other families with the up bringing of their families and kids. Everyone knew her as Ms. Candy reflecting on her sweet and giving nature. 

Maude was a friend to everyone she met. 

The visitation for Mrs. Daniels’ will be Thursday January 28th at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12-8pm. Mrs. Daniels’ Celebration of Life will be held Friday January 29th at Alta Vista Cemetery at 11am.
