Donald Reed Neilan

Donald Reed Neilan, 67, of Gainesville, GA passed away on December 20, 2020.

Don was born on June 7, 1953 in New London, CT to Donald Chapman Neilan and Mary Louise Reed Neilan.  He earned a B.S from Central Connecticut State University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.  He retired in 2015 from EMC/Dell Corporation after an extensive career as a Systems Technical Architect and Sales Consultant.  Don was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Gainesville.

Don is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marcia, son and daughter-in-law Ryan and Heather Neilan of Buford, GA, daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Jeff Para of Johns Creek, GA, grandchildren Reed Neilan, Avery Para and Collin Para, sister Pamela Mauldin of Waterford, CT, sister-in-law Elaine Plecs and her husband Bob Plecs of Ledyard, CT and father Donald C. Neilan of Palm Bay, FL.  He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Louise Reed Neilan.
