Virginia Armour Chance

Virginia Armour Chance, age 73, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Chance and daughter, Lena Chance. She is survived by her children, Lesia and Johnny Newell, Locust Grove, GA, Kenneth and Stacey Chance, Jr., Jackson, GA; grandchildren, Blake Shortnacy, Jonathan Smith Chance; step-grandchildren, Kimberly Sangster, Karene Newell, Johnny Newell, III; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Chance was born February 12, 1947 in Lula, GA, Hall County. She was a graduate of Johnson High School in Oakwood, GA. she was retired from Theragenics Corporation as an inspector after eighteen years. She was a member of the Lanier Church of God in Buford, GA. Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 12 noon at the Fountain of Faith Cemetery, 6028 Spout Springs Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542 with Rev. Jimmy Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
