Kevin Charles Paige

Obituary Date: Saturday, October 10, 2020

Kevin Charles Paige 19, of Cumming, Georgia passed away on Saturday, October 10th, 2020.

Kevin was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age 2, a disability that affected only his legs. His handicap prevented him from playing his favorite sports, football and baseball, but he was always his teams’ biggest supporter. He had a love for life and big dreams, never letting his handicap stop him from doing whatever he wanted to do. Kevin knew no strangers, loved hiking the North Georgia mountains, and watched all nine seasons of The Office on a continuous loop.

In high school, Kevin found a love of public speaking and business. He participated in impromptu speaking competitions and DECA, serving as Vice President his senior year and winning several competitions. He also pursued public speaking by preaching at his church where he encouraged everyone to love God and live as a Christian. He started his own digital media marketing business in high school with dreams of building it up after college.

Kevin touched the lives of so many people both young and old. His smile lit up a room and his laughter was contagious. Kevin was a remarkable young man. His loss is felt by so many and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Kevin is survived by his parents; Eric and Lynn Paige of Cumming, Georgia. Maternal grandmother; June Ormerod of Bremerton, Washington.

Paternal grandmother; Edna Paige of Fort Worth, Texas. Sister and brother in law; Ellen Vaughn (Josh) of Arlington, Texas. Two nephews; Bennett Vaughn, and Olsen Vaughn. Numerous extended family members also survive.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 from 2:00pm – 3:00pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home.

A celebration of life service will be in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home at 3:00pm immediately following the visitation on October 17th, 2020.

Due to the current pandemic temperatures will be taken upon entry to the funeral home, everyone will be required to wear a mask.

The celebration of life service will be live streamed. (Instructions on how to view the live stream will be forthcoming.)

The family asks that everyone WEAR BRIGHT COLORS to honor his passion for life and cheerfulness.
