Sara Alice Lewallen Gilbert

Mrs. Sara Alice Lewallen Gilbert, 86, of Clermont passed away Monday, August 3, 2020 following an extended illness.

Private services will be held.

Born on January 17, 1934 in Homer, GA she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Alpha Shalla Lewallen. She was retired from J & J Foods where she worked in the Deli. Mrs. Gilbert was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gilbert is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Gilbert; grandson, Justin Fambrough and several brothers and sisters.

A wonderful mother she is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Charlene Sullens of Clermont; son, Jerry Wayne Fambrough and his wife Rose Mary of OH; daughter, Shawn Denise Dyer and her husband, Charles of Lula; 5 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Scviller Wright of Gainesville, Lily Rose Crowe of FL and a number of other relatives.
